What we built.

A new, calm website for an energetic healing practice, replacing a badly outdated site. Handreiking Praktijk now looks professional, loads fast on any phone and makes getting in touch as easy as possible.

The challenge

Angelique van der Linden has been supporting people and animals from her practice in Beinsdorp since 1995, with energetic healing, spiritual guidance and support for highly sensitive people. Her work is about calm, trust and personal attention, but her old website showed little of that. It was outdated, no longer looked professional, loaded slowly on phones and was hard to find.

In this kind of work the first impression matters. People looking for a healing practice want to recognise themselves and feel trust before they get in touch. A dated website puts up a barrier exactly where Angelique wants to remove one.

The solution

Vorteca designed and built an entirely new website that carries the same calm as a session in the practice: soft natural tones, plenty of space, warm photography and a classic serif typeface. Not a stock theme, but a design built around the way Angelique works.

The site is structured around the questions new clients have beforehand: what is energetic healing, what fits my situation, how does a programme work and who is the person behind the practice. Getting in touch takes one tap anywhere on the site, via WhatsApp, phone or email.

The result

Handreiking Praktijk once again has a website that matches the quality of the work. It looks professional, feels calm and tells visitors what they want to know within a few minutes. New clients recognise themselves in the practice sooner and find it easier to take the step to a first conversation.

Technically the foundation is solid: on a slow mobile connection every page arrives in under 600 KB and does not jump around while loading. That makes the site pleasant to use and easier to find on Google.
